Sustainability

We at Coffee Fellows attach importance to a responsible use of natural resources. That's why we actively support sustainable attitudes.

WE TAKE ON RESPONSIBILITY

In the coffee shop we intensively deal with the topic of avoiding waste. The focus here is the reduction of the use of 'to go' cups and clear cups.

We use regional products where possible. But we also want to set a sign in the Coffee Fellows Hotel and encourage the sustainable use of natural resources that are getting short.

You, too, can contribute to that goal!

EVERY DROP COUNTS

As a matter of fact, it is always our utmost intention to offer you the best possible service during your stay at the Coffee Fellows Hotel so that you can feel extremely well.

We would, however, like to give you the opportunity to act sustainably in favour of the environment yourself. So the decision of how often we should wash your used towels is left with you.

In addition, you have great influence on how much electric power and energy you use up by the deliberate use of air-conditioning. Therefore we warmly advise you to simply turn it off as soon as you leave the room. This way we can commonly save valuable water.

PEDAL THE WORLD

BICYCLE HIRE AT 'METROPOLRADUHR'

Cycling is fun, keeps fit and leaves a good conscience – that's how you reach your desired place in Dortmund without causing any emissions.

Get registered simply and comfortably online on the homepage of the bicycle hire Metropolraduhr, check current availability of the bicycles, get your bike right at the corner at Netanya Square and return it at any 'Metropolraduhr' station.

Our tip for all sporty discoverers: The 'Ruhrtalradweg' (Ruhr Valley cycling path).

HAVE BREAKFAST CONSCIOUSLY

As Germany's veggie-friendliest coffee shop chain we attach great importance to conscious nutrition. But it should also be sustainable.

Therefore, we offer only plastic-free packaging for your breakfast in the morning. By making available to you both honey, jam, nutella and yoghurt in glasses, we make a little, but important contribution to a reduced plastic pollution of the oceans.
